A friend of mine recently e-mailed me this you tube video. It very sad so I' am just warning you but please take the time to watch this. Please note that I' am not trying to pick on Obama. If it was McCain I would post it just the same. This is not a movie about politics but about human decency. Also, if anyone out there can prove me wrong then please do, I would gladly accept something better than this.

Advice...please!
So I' am guessing that you all know from reading my last post that we are going to have another baby. We are super excited and the baby and Lucas will be a little over two years apart so we are hoping they will be good friends:) Anyway, amidst being really excited I have been really sick with this one. It started when we got back from table rock and has been present ever since. I was wondering if any of you have ideas to help with nausea, I would greatly appreciate them!

Table Rock!!
Wow, I can't believe it is September already! I' am really excited for fall, it is one of my favorite seasons. I' am so glad that I live in an area that has different seasons. Well onto Tablerock... I don't know how many of you know our history with this hike so let me explain. Steve and I first met on Table rock, our college ward went up to do the hike. As I was coming down, Steve was coming up with a group. I just happened to be with his roommates and he came running over asking his friends(with a pained expression) if they had any toilet paper. They said no but I perked up and said hey I have some. Steve graciously took it and ran towards the trees in the distance. Yes I know very romantic but hey every love story needs it's beginning and at least we will never forget ours:)
Our second experience with Tablerock is when we got engaged. We decided to do the hike in September. About three miles in, we ran into snow. It was a lot of fun but once we got to the top we could hardly see through the blizzard. Steve proposed to me in about the same area we first met. It took us about 7 1/2 hrs to hike it.

Now to the present. We thought it would be fun to get a group and go up. We also thought it would be neat to take Lucas with us. We headed up around 7:00am and I started with Lucas on my back. The first 1/2 mile is pretty tough but everyone was energized and excited. It was so beautiful walking through the wildflowers and plants, all the while looking up at the knob on the top thinking wow, I' am really going all the way up there. At about mile four Steve and I switched with Lucas. It sure makes a difference packing a 20lb kid on your back plus a 15-20lb pack. We made our way a long the ridge line and could taste victory amidst the aching and soreness setting in. We stopped every once in a while to let the kids out of the packs. My friend Kristen, her husband Matt and daughter Lydia also went with us. They did so AWESOME for being a packs for so long. The last mile of Table rock is always the hardest. You are so close but is so steep that you have to walk a couple steps rest and repeat. We finally made it and enjoyed the windy view of the Tetons, it is such an accomplishment when you finally make it! We then started down, ate lunch and we were ready to be done. I was so tired on the way down. I think I was pooped from carrying Lucas and being pregnant probably didn't help:) We finally made it back 10 hours later and I was so ready to shower and go to bed. Steve and I had been camping two days before so we were ready for a real bed. It was a great experience and hey maybe it will become a tradition for us to take all of our kids on it. I think it will defiantly be a while before I do it again though:) Enjoy the pics.
