We blessed Taylor on June 7th . She wore the same blessing dress that I wore when I was blessed. It is pretty neat being able to pass down something like that to her. A lot of my nieces have worn it as well so it is pretty amazing it has lasted this long:)
Both Steve and I have pretty big families so we had a big crowd. I was worried that it was going to rain but it ended up being somewhat nice. It sure is crazy trying to plan a big meal for that many people! I don't know how my mother in law caters every weekend!
Steve gave a wonderful blessing. I love that my husband is able to use the priesthood for our family and give blessings. I know it was a real comfort to have them when I was pregnant with Taylor and when my dad used to give them too me. Now to see Taylor start receiving them is truly wonderful.
Thanks to all our family who came and to my friends who came and helped out, I loved having everyone there. Love you all!
